I started training with Jake at 2.5 months post-partum. The goal was to lose 10 kg and we did it in 5 months. I was quite active pre-pregnancy but had lost most of my strength and stamina as I did not exercise at all during pregnancy. Before we began the programme, Jake helped me to fix my diastasis recti. Jake’s coaching style is straightforward and fuss-free. As a new and working mom, I don’t have a lot of time to exercise so I appreciate that Jake’s customised exercise programme can be done anywhere and are short (30 to 45 min) and effective. Other than an exercise mat, the only other equipment needed was a kettlebell. I also benefited from Jake’s deep knowledge in nutrition and physiotherapy which helped me to reach my goal quicker. Jake pays attention to form to ensure that I am working on the right muscles and therefore making the exercises more effective.
